Pacific County Weed Districts

The Noxious Weed Control Board is comprised of five members from across the County. Each member serves a term of four years. When a seat on the Weed Board opens up, interested parties must submit a letter of interest explaining his or her relevant qualifications and reasons for applying. The Weed Board Coordinator evaluates the applicants and provides a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, who will make the final appointment. Board members must reside within the district that they are appointed to represent.
